There’s always a series of things an athlete analyzes before each game they have. Whether they be steps, movements, skills, or plays, these things are always in the back of their mind if they realize it or not. Even though track is mostly just running, this same principle still applies. Hurdling is one thing that requires much attention, and has many components which one must pay attention to.
Underneath my feet was the track, a vibrant red that practically dares someone to make a mistake. The surface of it was rough and jagged, and it easily turned one’s shoes, or their hands as they prepared for a race, the same vibrant color it was made up of. Its main purpose of being so rough was so track spikes could get a grip in it, but the shoes I was wearing were completely flat on the bottom, making the track my enemy. The track was the second worst part of the race, a reminder to do everything precisely or the outcome would be painful.
Straight out in front of me was the lane I was to run in. Each lane was a meter wide, encased in a thick, white line. Staying inside the lane was vital, as straying resulted in immediate disqualification. It wasn’t a small amount of space, but it wasn’t large either, and a miscalculation would throw you out quickly. When running, one always had to make sure their feet stayed inside the two white lines and away from the other runners as you battled balance and the pushing, whistling wind.
Inside each of the lanes, there are ten hurdles, two feet tall and almost completely composed of metal. The top part that one runs over is a pliant plastic that, if you hit it, it will give and allow you to knock the hurdle over without injuring yourself. These are the most important part of the race, as you should clear it, but not too high so as not to be in the air for too long. The worst part of any race is actually hitting a hurdle, as even though they’re designed to give if hit, the metal still weighs it down and makes for a solid, hard impact. Hitting it with your front foot is usually not bad, but when hit with your trail knee or foot, the fall is devastating against the cold metal and the rough track below.
Just like with any other sport, hurdles requires lots of skill and thought. The track can be your enemy if you’re not properly equipped or prepared. Each lane tests you and your body control. The individual hurdles are a challenge in themselves, each one making way for error and ruin.
I WILL! :D

You have a great start there without having your notes! I’m impressed by your brevity in outlining your paper. If we could all learn to say as much in as few words!
haha thank you so much! I’ve been writing like, my whole life, and I remember things really well xD thank goodness, too, otherwise I’d never be this good at doing things last minute.
I totally don’t have $25 dollars to get the ticket from Ashley, though… so even if my mom said yes, idk how I’d get it unless no one buys it by the end of next week.

also, not to be a ~bitch but if your “Intro” is your thesis it might could use some work. It needs to completely outline your argument with references to your supporting paragraph, not just state what you’d like to end up concluding.
haha no, it’s fine and you’re completely right. in actuality, this outline is complete bullshit because I left everything in my locker at school xD
OH MY GOD IS IT? OMG ASKING MY MOM BECAUSE I NEED TO GO ALSKDJFALKSF

I DONT NEED YOUR ATTITUDE IM TIRED OKAY? why are your paragraph topics saying how its wrong n shit. are you like trying to make it a sarcastic essay or something?
no, those are the arguments against it, and then my points are how the arguments are wrong.

there’s a loophole in your first point. There are civil marriages which have no religious implication which are open to straight couples, yet there is not a nonreligious ceremony available to gays. Also, replying again about the 3rd support.
you are my savior on all things paper-ish, I swear.

THAT’S WHAT MY THIRD ARGUMENT WAS. thank you! :D
Someone wanna help me out? I’m doing it on why gay marriage should be allowed, and so far I have sanctity of marriage and religion as my arguments.
